Profile
Colonel Bob Kayuha, USAF (Ret), has over 40 years of direct experience in program management, engineering, and test and evaluation (T&E) of highly complex aerospace systems at multiple corporate levels. He has a proven record successfully developing, evaluating and maintaining industry capture strategies and proposals, earned value management (EVM) processes, and integrated master schedules (IMS). Colonel Kayuha is a proficient public speaker and facilitator with great organizational, administrative and people skills.
Significant Career Accomplishments
Led a team of tri-service, multi-agency and Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) representatives to develop and deploy the new performance-based business environment (PBBE) across the entire defense aviation business sector.
Participated on numerous industry proposal teams as management volume lead, master scheduler, risk manager, and overall coordinator with wins across many different types of systems including ships, avionics sub systems, aircraft, and laboratory equipment.
Conducted mock interviews for an industry client to ensure control account managers, schedulers, cost analysts and program managers were ready and able to show how they actually use EV to manage their programs—all passed the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audit.
Key member of the USAF team that originally implemented IMP/IMS into the weapon system acquisition approach. Intimately involved in development of the integrated product team (IPT) concept which is now used throughout the Department of Defense (DOD) and industry.
