Major General Brian Killough, USAF (Ret) has over 30 years of executive-level leadership and management experience in multiple facets of strategy, organizational planning, information technology (IT) and government services, with more than 20 years’ experience leading organizations responsible for aircraft operations, foreign military sales (FMS) and security assistance, installation support, and resource management. His most recent position was Deputy Commander, Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) with responsibility for 51 percent of the globe and supporting 46,000 Airmen in Japan, Korea, Hawaii, Alaska, and Guam along with personnel deployed around the world. He is a two-time commander with final decision authority related to all plans, policy, resource management, budget execution and personnel support.
Significant Career Accomplishments
Senior leader responsible for the long-term budget investment portfolio for USAF’s $150B annual budget. Synchronized portfolio development, planning choices and budget integration.
Authored detailed flight plan benefiting over 625K personnel. Briefed the USAF’s senior executive-level summit four times garnering corporate buy-in and implementation agreements.
Oversaw crisis response efforts during Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant invasion of Iraq. Directed and supervised $2.3B Iraq Training and Equipping Fund as well as $17B in Foreign Military Funding and FMS.
Officer in charge of USAF cyber operations, warfighter systems mission integration, and nuclear command, control and communications. Established Task Force Cyber Secure addressing tail to tooth cyber vulnerabilities. Advocate for cyber portfolio investment saved $2.1B in 2015.
