Mr. John Geise has over 45 years of experience as a leader in electronics engineering, including 34 years with the United States Air Force (USAF) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). His expertise includes the development and fielding of advanced aircraft self-protection systems, with assignments on many of today’s operational bomber, fighter, and cargo aircraft, including B-52, F-15, F-16, F-35, Special Operations C-130, and CV-22. John conducted technical studies and supported design reviews on these and many other aircraft, including F-22, B-1, B-2, F-117, and U-2.
Significant Career Accomplishments
Served as principal engineer and technical manager for the BriteCloud Active Expendable Decoy (AED) program in support of the Air National Guard (ANG) Foreign Comparative Test (FCT) Program sponsored by Office of the Secretary of Defense Comparative Testing Office (OSD/CTO).
Provided support to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) for Electronic Attack (EA) Techniques for Agile and Adaptive Radar program. Identified current EA techniques and threat capabilities and assessed countermeasures against agile/adaptive radar systems.
Managed a classified technology development and test program; in conjunction with US Government customers, developed advanced test concepts and approaches, developed prototype breadboards, and prepared test equipment to achieve customer objectives.
Chaired two reviews of the Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare System (AIDEWS) radar warning and jamming system for several F-16 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs as chief engineer at the ASC Avionics Division.
Provided technical evaluation of several EW systems on platforms including Joint Unmanned Combat Air Systems (J-UCAS), F-16, and CV-22 as Chief of ASC Defensive Systems Branch.
