Major General Paul Bielowicz, USAF (Ret), has over 40 years of material management and maintenance experience in DOD, ranging from flight line operations to chief operating officer of USAF depot maintenance and supply chain management (SCM) enterprises. His experience includes management of all supply chain processes and all levels of maintenance for numerous airframes and complex components, including high performance power plants and electronic commodities.
Significant Career Accomplishments
Managed and led purchasing and SCM operations in the USAF, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and commercial arenas supporting a wide range of requirements—weapon systems, critical infrastructure needs, and specialty operations such as obsolescence solutions.
Managed and led the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) closure of the San Antonio Air Logistics Center (ALC); transferred workload, managed personnel actions, and orchestrated re-development efforts while concurrently supporting logistics requirements for Kosovo operations.
Led an industry firm’s professional services group and won numerous contracts including large IDIQs such as the USAF DESP II & III and the Army R23G contract—each set at multi-billion dollar ceiling levels.
Directed operation of USSTRATCOM assigned forces including land and sea-based strategic ballistic missile forces and bomber, tanker, reconnaissance, and command and control weapon systems.
