Profile

Ms. Tanya Lambert has over 35 years of acquisition experience working in a variety of executive positions and with various technologies in the US Air Force (USAF) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA). She has served in senior leader positions as Deputy Program Executive Officer (DPEO) for Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence & Networks (C3I&N) at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB), MA; Division Deputy at Hanscom and Eglin AFB, FL; and Deputy Program Manager of Targets & Countermeasures in MDA at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Ms. Lambert is known as a caring mentor with a strong reputation for innovation and collaboration resulting in game-changing capabilities in support of the warfighter.

Significant Career Accomplishments

  • Key change agent for USAF adoption of Common Computing Environment, known now as Cloud One. Developed funding strategy approved by Under Secretary of the Air Force for cloud migration of Business Enterprise Systems (BES) and C3I&N programs.

  • Managed targets and countermeasures programs at MDA; range and instrumentation programs, including test and training, GPS, central test and evaluation programs; and armament programs, to include missiles, bombs, fuzes, and agile combat support.

  • Source Selection Authority (SSA), Source Selection Evaluation Board (SSEB) lead and factor chief on source selections for 20+ programs for munitions, support equipment, and weapon systems, including ACAT I, II and III programs.

  • Chaired multiple independent review teams (IRTs) receiving outstanding feedback and first-time pass for Small Diameter Bomb (SDB) Increment II (SDB II), Joint Miniature Munitions Bomb Rack Unit (JMM BRU), Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM), Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASM), SDB I sustainment, and range instrumentation test and training programs.
