We are pleased to announce that Gerry Freisthler, SES, Department of the Air Force (DAF) (Ret), has joined Dayton Aerospace as a senior associate. Gerry has over 35 years of experience in Department of Defense (DOD) program management, systems engineering, fleet sustainment and consulting, successfully leading multiple programs in every life cycle phase from developmental planning through fleet retirement.

He is the former F-22 deputy program director, joint air-to-surface standoff missile (JASSM) program director, and Air to Ground Weapons Wing director, which included responsibility for JASSM, wind corrected munitions dispenser (WCMD), joint direct attack munition (JDAM), small diameter bomb (SDB) and others. Additional government positions included deputy program executive officer (PEO) for USAF airlift and trainer programs, Air Armament Command (AAC) and Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) director of engineering, and the Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) executive director. Senior Executive Service (SES), Department of the Air Force (DAF) (Retired).
