Dayton Aerospace welcomes Mr. Paul Sagasser, computer systems and software technical expert and former chief engineer for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Mobility Directorate, Aircraft Survivability Division (AFLCMC/WLY), as our newest senior associate. In his most recent role, he was the technical authority for all LAIRCM matters interfacing with leadership in multiple USAF directorates, agencies, and external stakeholders to include Air Mobility Command (AMC), Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Acquisition) (SAF/AQ), Navy, and FMS customers.
Paul has extensive experience in USAF weapon system software development and component/subsystem integration as lead, technical expert and chief engineer in propulsion (AFLCMC/LP) and engineering (AFLCMC/ENAZ) directorates, as well as C-17, F-22, C-5, and LAIRCM program offices. As aircraft survivability and C-5 chief engineer, he applied systems engineering processes and acquired the necessary data/products to comply with USAF policy directives. He’s regarded as an expert in military and commercial application software engineering processes and certifications and has experience with all past and present military software acquisitions standards and data requirements.
