DDC Selects Dayton Aerospace to Support Region’s Federal Retention Program

DDC Federal Retention Program

Dayton Aerospace has been selected by the Dayton Development Coalition (DDC) to support its Federal Retention Program (FRP). The effort will prepare the Dayton region for potential cuts resulting from Department of Defense (DOD) efficiency efforts and a possible base realignment and closure (BRAC) process. The firm will partner with the DDC to identify and execute strategies to leverage the military and commercial capabilities of the region, specifically in the defense arena.

Dayton Aerospace experts include senior military officials with ties to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), including several former commanders and vice commanders of Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), now the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC). The company was a key member of the DDC team which prepared for the 2005 BRAC, which led to 1,200 additional jobs at WPAFB.

Dayton Aerospace is one of three local companies awarded one-year, task order contracts, with options to extend. For more information, visit the DDC website at www.daytonregion.com.
